On April 15, FACE organised its first training session on domestic violence and its impact in the workplace. This session was delivered by Clémentine Levy, Head of Network and Training at Solidarité Femmes to employees of CEASE companies member in France. It aimed to sensitize employees about domestic violence, deconstruct bias, help them to identify warning signs and to know how to react with a colleague experiencing violence. This session gathered 16 employees with very various positions (social workers, communication, human resources, csr etc). They shared possible solutions to deal with domestic violence and its effect in the workplace, such as protecting the victim and involving multidisciplinary teams to build complete policies. This was a promising first session that we hope can bring more actions to support victims of domestic violence inside companies!
